If you're asked or instructed to install/download a codec player in order to view the film, then it's a fake, and you can report the torrent in this forum:

But there was a avi file about 1.45 GB and no use of that file without the codec player that was also fake ?

avi files play just fine for me and I don't need to download special codecs to play them. Provide a link to the torrent you downloaded.

As was stated in the first reply, the files which require an ever-so-special codec or oh-so-never-heard-of-it media player are fake, bull, fony, shenanigans, asshat material.
Delete and move on.
If you really can't tell between a movie and a fake I recommend you don't download new torrents uploaded in the last hour or three, and download solely from uploaders with a pink or green skull.
peace

This copy of Dragon 2 worked for me:
https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/10942704...%5BETRG%5D
I get the smaller sizes since I play them while working.
if you still have the torrents in your torrent client, providing the hash would be a good idea so that they can be removed.

As far as I can recall, Windows Media Player (any version with 11 and above) can play any AVI with no codecs.
If you tried that, then just get shark007's 7 codecs: https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVjWM3...uTtUjRFG_A-
If that doesn't work, just use Daum Potplayer. Before I discovered shark007's usefulness, Potplayer played everything, from files to discs. Here's English URL (the main language is Korean): https://www.videohelp.com/tools/PotPlayer
Hope this helps.

I think I might know what was wrong with his avi
I was trying to download these https://www.tv.com/shows/japanese-spiderman/episodes/ and when I used clipconverter I selected avi and the downloaded avi files wouldn't play at all with Windows Media player so I think he downloaded some crappy conversions. In the meantime I still can't get my Supaidāman :|
