I found some sites that you can download it from, but just wanted to check here to see if anyone knows any that legit/non-malware, etc.
Now, this and things like visual studio have switched to subscription model (that I hate) rather than a one time fee one. I thought of buying an older version of Adobe Pro Premier, but even CS5.5 is still $700.

Uploaders with green or violet skulls are trusted or reputable sources respectively; you shouldn't worry about having malware or homing beacons. They're pretty kosher.

I've used FirstUploads for all my adobe programs, but I've only used the 2015-2016 editions and a few 2019 editions. However they've continued to work for the 4-5 years I've used their cracks non-stop. Never had an issue on the multiple devices I've installed them on. They have a green skull as well.

There are some uploaders without skulls who are pretty reliable. The problem appears to be that they have their own websites that they promote in their files. If you see an Adobe version you like check out to see how LONG the poster has been around and any negative comments.
Adobe is pretty intensive on your system with numerous daemons running all the time. Determine what you need vs what you want, and you migh find other options useful.
CS6 runs here, but always complains. I shut down most of its services.
