I am a fan of OpenSuse myself. I have tried lots of different distrobutions and OpenSuse is the ONLY one that had absolutely no problems installing or using it on multiple different computers from the new to the obsurdly old.

I love GNU/Linux tool, having tried MX Linux and Linux Mint, I was sold! Now, I don't even use Windows 11 any more!
No offence though, but I think we are straying too far from the main conversation, which is about vintage computers.
Has anyone ever owned a computer with a Cyrix processor?

I'm currently required to use Windows 11 at work, but as soon as I learned that Windows 10 would reach its end of life in 2025, I began transitioning to Linux on my personal desktop in early 2022. I've already been using Linux on my laptops since early 2020.
My HP Elitebook 8400p is a remarkable device that I absolutely adore. In the near future, I will be assisting my dad in recovering some data from his previous super tiny laptop from around 2009 / 2011 before I acquire it.
