So I have an account on TPB and I have uploaded three torrents without issue.
About five days ago I went to upload a fourth, and I am getting a "bad gateway" error. I've been trying periodically to upload this torrent, and each time I'm greeted with a 502 bad gateway error. In the meantime, I've noticed that other people have been able to upload torrents, so I think this is something on my end.
The most recent attempt gives me this:
Cloudflare Ray ID: 331296e406011846
I have tried this on Chrome and Safari and also Chrome in incognito mode, so I don't think it is a plugin.
I have tried resetting my DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4, no change.
I did a traceroute and it shows that network traffic is getting through to upl.thepiratebay.org.
10 nyk-bb4-link.telia.net (62.115.112.114) 173.512 ms * 124.682 ms
11 nyk-b2-link.telia.net (213.155.130.30) 129.861 ms 33.727 ms 31.698 ms
12 cloudflare-ic-301663-nyk-b2.c.telia.net (213.248.77.162) 35.787 ms 32.790 ms 33.769 ms
13 104.31.18.30 (104.31.18.30) 31.611 ms 32.447 ms 34.149 ms
So after all that didn't work, I tried going through TorBrowser. The first time I tried, it wouldn't keep me logged in- every time I hit 'upload torrent' it took me back to the login screen. But, I persisted and eventually made it to the upload page.
I filled in all the information and hit submit, and this time I get "sorry, you have been blocked."
"This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data."
I've tried using a different tor path, but so far I've used Sweden, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, all with the same result.
Two most recent give me this:
Cloudflare Ray ID: 331289e2c83014eb
Cloudflare Ray ID: 3312a453d95568d8
I've attached the torrent file, on the off chance that has anything to do with it.
Additional information: using a friend's paid VPN service, I tried to upload using a number of VPN sites and got a 504 "gateway timeout" error.
I think I might actually just be cursed.
