Software for creating mp4

I have a Video_TS folder of a movie....Is there an easy way to make this folder into an mp4 file so I can get rid of the folder and keep the mp4?

Apparently when I add the folder into the Handbrake application to encode it's only picking out a file that's 55kb.  I have several VOB files that are not encoding.  Got any ideas?

I did already post a question but wanted to elaborate more.  I have several VOB files that are from an old ***** I had on DVD.  I managed to rip the files and they're all in this folder called VIDEO_TS.  Inside the folder there are several .VOB files that I want to see if I can encode them back into .mp4 to watch on my PC or FireTV if I so inclined.  Somone suggested Handbrake however when trying to incorporate these files the application is only grabbing on file that's about 55 seconds.  What do I need to do to ensure this folder is encoded entirely correctly into an mp4?

Double check, you've followed the steps correctly, as given in the handbrake documentation
Check the Activity Logs.

You can also try some other software. There are many freeware options.

Please read the article above, 'Activity Logs', carefully. (Section: "Activity Logs on Windows")

Go through the log fie and make an effort to find out what happened. Post the log file. Maybe someone can help decipher the problem, then.

Handbrake is the one to go with but Avidmux is a decent alternative.
