Just a heads up, there is a new virus, discovered about December of last year (2023) or so, that flashes your BIOS and exploits the logos of the vendors... OK, when you start up your computer, you might recall that your displays the logo of either your OEM vendor or motherboard, it exploits that.
If you wipe your computer, you still have the virus because it operates within the hardware level.
This is affected if you have a Windows or a GNU/Linux PC, but not a Mac, so...
Anyhow, if you can, you might want to consider flashing the BIOS to the latest update; Gigabyte B550M users like me just had such update last month (February 2024).
I know I'm writing like an eight year-old, but it's late and I feel that I need to warn everyone to seek higher ground and update your BIOS/UEFI if you can.
Good luck.
This is a good video to refer to.
