Hi fellow pirate gamers!
I have a crisis! I don't know which Final Fantasy game to play first. I have no experiences with any other Final Fantasy game except X-2.
I don't know if I have the patience to start at the first one on the NES.
What to do?!?

most of the games aren't even connected, so story-wise, play in your own order

Final Fantasy 3.. Roam around the map for about a year until you get the Moogle charm that makes all random encounters go away. What fun..
Seriously, Its a good start.

Just Play XIII i started this series from the latest one and enjoyed playing it nowadays i am playing LOTR - The Battle For Middle Earth II it's pretty good when you play at LAN with your Friends So i love it. If you like Final Fantasy Series (especially old ones) what i would recommend you is Shining Force a sega game it's rare and you need sega emulator to play it Graphic's not that good but the story line is the best. One of the Best old games i have played [RECOMMENDED]

Thanks, Dubstream.
You mentioned LAN playing, and I like LAN games. I'll step out of the main topic for one post and ask you, Dubstream, if you still have LAN parties and what you feel about people saying that piracy is killing LAN play.
Now back to my original topic. Was XIII for PS2?

1) Nah! people just keep talking nonsense Piracy is in no way of killing LAN play lol. I used to play C&C generals with my friends and had a lot of fun these days i am playing Fifa + alot of games. Lan play is actually better than individual playing.
2) About Final Fantasy XIII (Sorry it's not available for PS2)
here's the link where you can get more info------>Final Fantasy Wiki + Release Dates

Don't be sorry; you weren't one of the programmers.
Well, I did download a copy of Final Fantasy for PS2, I guess it must be XII.
I immediately lost interest over it, because it's a 3D map. I guess I like 2D games like Link to the Past and Tales of Phantasia.
Thanks guys.

Play Final fantasy tactics, both the one for PS1, and the NDS one, really addictive. You can play both with emulators, and their story is nice.
Also Crisis Core with the Jpsp emulator is great too.

I have only played FF 7, 8, and 9. My favorite one was 7. I still love that game!

since you like 2d, play all the 2d final fantasy games first.
