Солярис (1972)
Solaris (1972)
A Soviet science fiction drama film based on Stanisław Lem's 1961 novel of the same title.
The plot centers on a space station orbiting the fictional planet Solaris, where a scientific mission has stalled because the skeleton crew of three scientists have fallen into emotional crises. Psychologist Kris Kelvin travels to the station to evaluate the situation, only to encounter the same mysterious phenomena as the others.
Solaris won the Grand Prix Spécial du Jury at the 1972 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Palme d'Or. It received critical acclaim, and is often cited as one of the greatest science fiction films in the history of cinema. The film was Andrei Tarkovsky's attempt to bring greater emotional depth to science fiction films.

111 Years Of Deutsche Grammophon (2 Box Sets)
In 2009, the Deutsche Grammophon label celebrated its 111th anniversary, and as part of that celebration, produced this box set of 55 albums, each one complete in its original program, with original sleeve art reproduced as well. The set was followed in 2010 with volume 2, offering another 56 discs for a total of 111 recordings.
These recordings are a mixture of the old and the new, with more from the digital era than from earlier eras, but they include a wide variety of music -- from solo keyboard to concerto to musical theater -- and represent not just Deutsche Grammophon, but its period-performance sister label Archiv. Many of the recordings are classics in the DG library: The Art of the Fugue by the Emerson Quartet; Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto by David Oistrakh; The Four Seasons by Trevor Pinnock and the English Concert; West Side Story with Kiri Te Kanawa and José Carreras conducted by Leonard Bernstein; Beethoven piano sonatas by Emil Gilels. The breadth of artists and repertoire is deep and quite impressive.
This box not only samples the history of a great label, it also would serve as a high-quality, immersive introduction to the world of classical music for anyone who is not familiar with it and is serious about becoming so.
About Deutsche Grammophon:
One of the most prestigious names in global classical music since its foundation in 1898, German record label Deutsche Grammophon has always stood for the highest standards of artistry and sound quality. Home to the greatest artists of all time, the famous yellow label is a beacon to which music lovers all over the world look for outstanding recordings and interpretations.
It is the oldest surviving established record company.
Edition 1 (2009) (55 CDs) - 14.46GB
Audio format: FLAC
The booklet is included.

TV Series/Docudrama:
One Step Beyond (1959-1961)
A collection of tales about paranormal events and the world of the unknowns.
One Step Beyond was hosted by John Newland, "your guide to the supernatural" (also credited as "Our guide into the world of the unknown"). Newland, who also directed every episode, presented tales that explored paranormal events and various situations that defied logical explanation.
One Step Beyond purported only to tell stories based on "human record" (documented historical events).
Considering that the stories are drawn from documented events makes the series all the more intriguing. In my opinion, this is better than The Twilight Zone.
