Is there a free way to route my traffic like Exitlag does?
#1
Hello,

I'm new to this website. Maybe you could help me with my issue.

I'd like to know if there is any way I can route my traffic to the closest game server like Exitlag does but for free.
Now, I've tried multiple Exitlag 'spoofers' I've found on the web, but almost all of them seem to be risky and unreliable. After them, I had to delete everything and reinstall windows because of lag and freezes (both in&out of game) I got using them.

A few years ago it was possible for me to play with 70ms without using any software programs, but now it's 400ms. The game server, the game itself, and the ISP have been the same. Now I have to use apps like Exitlag if I want to get the same experience.

To point out that the issue can't be fixed by changing ISP/router/PC etc. :

I guess my ISP changed something about how the whole traffic routing thing (I don't understand much about it.) I have tried asking them about my issue, they couldn't help me with anything.

Other ISPs in my place had had this issue for me even before I had faced the said issue with the ISP I currently have.

I have also tried connecting to the desired game server using other PCs in other completely different parts of my city and it was the same.

Also, I've been genuinely curious about this, and I might be wrong, but is it really such a complex software program that you have to pay for it? (I specifically mean traffic routing, not other features Exitlag has.)
Honestly, I'm even surprised why the game itself doesn't route traffic properly.

And so, I'd be very thankful for any small piece of information provided to help with my issue.

Maybe, there are better places to ask questions like this you could tell me about, or people who can help me and who you could acquaint me with.
