that thread was rife with fake accounts, by the end i was responding 100% to users with only a couple posts ever; i lost a rep point to a user with zero posts whose total online activity time was less than 4 minutes, obvsly an account made solely for that thread. i myself had degenerated at that point into full-on youtube-comments-section beast-mode, and it is not inaccurate to say the thread had strayed from the original topic (even tho the thread had even been started by a user who is in all likelihood someone's fake other account). i'm glad i'm no longer constantly refreshing just so i can invite into myself such toxicity.

I used to play bass for TIMID TROLL THREAD!

I didn't really play bass for Timid Troll Thread. I just helped unload the van a couple times. And one time I brought a bass guitar up to the stage and plugged it in. I managed to strum it one time before he [the bass guitarist] came onstage to do the sound check "proper."

Any quick online fact-check could, and apparently did, reveal my non-membership in the band Timid Troll Thread. Sorry, mom. And especially sorry for the "War Orphan Scam," as it's quickly being called in the press...
