Hello, I'm facing a problem in Windows Vista. I'll be glad if anyone or an expert can help me to solve this problem.. I noticed that my system is on and i am not facing any kinda problems while working but if i don't use the system, it hangs after 5-6 hrs. Why Vista hangs so much?? Not all the time, but i have noticed that my PC Freezes after being left idle for 5-6 or 9-10 hours while downloading..

Probably because Vista is shit and no one ever liked it so no one ever bothered to fix it, upgrade to Windows 7 you can keep all your apps and settings and it only takes about half an hour.

Its not about it being pirated or not its about the OS itself and Vista from day one was a dead duck, it seriously was the worst ever Microsoft OS. XP is dead now and Vista was born dead so if you need to use Windows then your choices are 7 or 8, I use 8 but prefer 7.

What Kingfish said though if you want to try your luck with Vista then grab the Service Packs for it and see if it helps with the it's performance, if not then you're out luck.

Was Vista aborted?
Hey Kingfish, would you punch my face if I recommended Windows 98?

It doesn't matter how many times you ask the question, the right answer is the right answer.
