Question about Game Torrent

The torrent Battlefield 1-*****Y uploaded by hero master I am currently still downloading, in it has a txt file saying torrent downloaded from www.skidrow-games.com isn't this a scam site?
Because also on that site they have a torrent for Just Cause 3 repack which I thought JC3 wasn't even cracked yet? And I did manage to get the torrent file from the site which is pops up an external pay to download site but I got it free.
Im just wondering whether to bother downloading the JC3 torrent I mean if TPB has the *****Y BF1 torrent from there then maybe the JC3 one is legit too?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, in the sense that it is not run by skidrow or anyone associated with them.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's laden with fakes or malware but, personally, I avoid sites that try to trick you into visiting them by pretending to be something they are not.

There are a couple of torrents of it, uploaded by VIP's on TPB, so I'd suggest it would be safer to download from them.

Thanks Sid yeah I did see the *****Y version popup just after I posted this and the fitgirl repack which is the torrent that site was giving.
That site although its not from any actual scene groups I think the torrents are actually legit.
Its just trying to make money from those pay to download services through referrals, although kindly enough it still gives you the actual torrent file.
I suppose noobs who don't know how to DL a torrent will make them money by signing up to the DL services.
With the fitgirl repacks its hard to be fooled because one tiny little change in the MD5 it instantly pegs it.
So if they put some shit in it you would know instantly.

Im just really pissed off I have downloaded BF1 now twice and still can't get it to run.
I keep getting the windowed opening screen with black then the white loading circle then crash with no error.
Ive tried literally everything I can find its really weird this one.
Im thinking its got to be windows updates for 7x64 I have quite a few I need to update haven't updated in a few years but from my last experience I have to back up everything first then do each update 1 by 1.
As MS last time gave me a dud update which fried my machine.
Such madness this internet is getting becoming like the roads.
