[REQ] Argoman
#1
So Jonah was talking up Argoman during the live stream of Blood Waters of Dr Z.

Anyone have a live link?  I think it's a live show?

It's a film, about 90 minutes long. It's truly awful and so bad, it's funny. It all but riffs itself. I think it's a keeper : ) How could you not love a superhero who gets from scene-to-scene by public transportation?!

If you have trouble, let me know, and I'll put mine up on Mega. It's formatted for AppleTV, so unless you want to convert it, try the Internet Archive copy first : )

I've been finding lots of loot on the Internet Archive of late. If you watch The Mads Are Back pre-show, Matt Reiser puts a lot of previews for old films on there. If it looks interesting enough, I take a picture of the title and hunt around for it on YouTube, Internet Archive, etc.

Argoman was one such preview, and I'm glad I followed up on it. The other night, they showed a preview for _The Terrornauts_ (1967). I can't find a freebie of that anywhere : (

Those pre-show trailers, before The Mads are Back have been all over the Archive for decades, I used to rip individual ones to insert to the multi-movie drive-in discs I used to make when I thought it was "cool" (sadly it never was). There are literally hundreds of collections, and thousands of individual clips, and some so obscure that I'm sure not all of the films survived. Just a sample, you can search until your fingers go numb and your eyes blur out (i used to twenty years ago):

etc  etc  etc...

I just made and posted this fan edit of Argoman the Fantastic Superman. I added some appropriate trailers and a silly anti-drug PSA. It also has the deleted "kill yourself!" opening scene.
