A suggestion: when you post something please give information about the post. Sometimes you post things without giving even the title. Just a vague at best hint. WHY?! I want to like you. You make it difficult. ARGGHHHH! Having to click-through to see the link's title is at best inconsiderate (and sometimes non-informative). At worst it is sadistic. "Here is a Failed Backdoor Mini Series..." WHICH ONE?! Just tell us! Damn. I want to like you!

It did fail, but it wasn't a backdoor show. For it to have been a backdoor, it would have to have started as a regular episode on a different series. As Mork & Mindy was a backdoor from Happy Days, and Empty Nest was from The Golden Girls.

OK bakdoor Pilot is not the correct term , but this Mini-Series was alot like The Lost Room where the "mini-Series" is the pilot and if is good it takes off like battlestar galactia

That's what a pilot is. They make a show, give it a spin, if it's well-received, they commission a full show.
