1.Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of the original Dark Souls, will only be supervising on Dark Souls 2, with Tomohiro Shibuya taking over as director

7.Bonfires have returned along with a heavy emphasis on dark/light and how it affects your vision and the environment.
8.Dragons play a much more prominent role this time around.
