Are the ones I put on mega better quality than the ones on youtube? Didn't check every one, but the ones on youtube I did check (episode 1 and a couple of parts of episodes 2 & 3) are 360p (despite youtube showing that they're 480p). Ones I posted are all 480p. Episodes 4 and 5 are untouched from the original releases. I converted episodes 1, 2, and 3 to a more modern codec because the originals used a really old codec that some modern media players don't like.

I will get these to support you  Big Grin  what is the more modern codec?  I convert everything to mkv through mkvtoolnix (shout out to TheCollector for introducing and teaching me how to use toonix).

MKV (or Mastroka) is really a container and not a codec. Just about any video file no matter what codec used to encode it can be put in a MKV container. I usually only use a MKV container if I have a video file that I want to add multiple audio tracks to and/or want to include subtitles in that same container file.
If I'm re-encoding video (due to it using an old codec or it having a weird frame rate) I usually re-encode using Handbrake and the H.264 (x264) codec.
Why? Habit really.
I had a Western Digital media player that handled H.264 (x264) video really well and sometimes struggled with other codecs and didn't like some files that were in MKV containers (the standards for MKV headers changed-I've forgetten what version made the change- and the WD players didn't like files saved to the new standard) .
When my WD player died, I replaced it with a Kodi box running LibreElec and I haven't found many videos it won't play so I should probably experiment with H.265 (x265).

Thanks, but praise should all go to MFT3K. I've always been amazed at just how good they were at imitating the look, feel, and writing of the original show.

MFT3K are a group of fans that set out to produce 5 episodes that mimic the original MST3K including the host segments. They’re from Missouri (I think) and about 10 years passed between episode 3 and the release of episode 4.

F01: Little Red Riding Hood
An awkward and strangely uncomfortable retelling of the fairy tale, from our friends south of the border.

F02: Invasion of the Animal People plus shorts: Duck and Cover; Plan for Pleasant Living
Cinema Lappland presents an hour of recycled stock footage, preceded by two short subjects striving to improve your life.
https://mega.nz/#!6e4ExZKD!0uk90YvWjz6Ym...0Zv3r5K5Rg

F03: Starcrash
A blatant Star Wars ripoff featuring a few actors you've actually heard of! When Marjoe Gortner and David Hasselhoff collide, will you be able to handle it?
https://mega.nz/#!3TQyARSY!nAOC33LQw7bp-...6a0Y89UvEA

F04: Eliminators
Sci-fi! Robots! Action! Pirates! Adventure! Mad science! Ninjas! Time Travel! Riverboats! The only 80's cornerstone missing from this misadventure flick is breakdancing, but we're sure they tried to cram it in there somewhere, possibly behind the lost tribe of cavemen. Oh, did we forget to mention the lost tribe of cavemen? Yeah, there's that, too.

F05: Shorts
5 short tales of terror and propriety confront our hapless crew in a battle for control of Deep13b! What will become of the house in the middle? What hidden dangers lurk in bonfires and canoes? How do you stay safe in the Darwinian jungle of the school bus? Are jam fights really worth the risk? Will Molly ever grow up? There's only one way to find out!

Cool, thanks!

I'm not sure what I expected of these, maybe I thought it would be some sort of poor quality ICWXP... I was really impressed!!  The low production quality just feels like KTMA.  The bot voices are great and their Dr Forrester is pretty good.

That's interesting.  I got all my copies from archive.org, but I just went and checked and couldn't find them.  I wonder what happened to them all.

here's a new upload of the Rough Cut version of Diabolik, since i noticed the earlier link was down. not certain it's the same one as from the initial post (but it most likely is); I got this from TVV. If you haven't seen it before, pay close attention around 45:30!

and just for funsies, here's a copy of the full original Danger Diabolik film, with a better quality dub than the MST version (perhaps a mixed blessing as we lose the classic 'is that stud coming?' line) along with english subtitles and a commentary track featuring lead actor John Phillip Law and film historian Tim Lucas. it's a pretty good commentary track as far as MST/RT movies go (after all, it is a Mario Bava and Ennio Morricone picture), with lots of info and anecdotes from the production. the widescreen print used here is real nice too.

Big fan of the source material. I have several volumes of Diabolik (translated reprints of the beginning of the run), of which there are well over 800 issues!
So it is with great delight that I THANK YOU once again, kkt!

Live MST3K show featuring riffing of the movie “World Without End” in Minneapolis in 1992. Only the opening segment, the 2nd half of the live show, and an after show Q & A were recorded live. The 1st half of the movie is included non-live/un-riffed. I was really excited to see this. Until I did. The live footage was shot by an audience member who couldn’t hold the camera steady, the audio has far too much crowd noise, and I found it pretty unwatchable. Including for the interested.
