Avatar Gifs

May not be a site issue as much as a LZA issue, but when I try to change my avatar to a GIF as opposed to a still pic, the GIF turns into a still pic.

Is this an access issue? Something I'm doing wrong? I see others with GIFs and I believe I had GIFs before. Is there a specific way to do it that I'm not remembering?

My guess is that if the original is larger than the allowed size, it loses the animation when MyBB resizes it.

After a little more poking, MyBB uses native PHP functions which don't support resizing animated GIFs, so you'll have to be sure that your avatar doesn't exceed the dimension or size requirements to keep it from being resized.
