TPB 15th Anniversary design-a-logo competition.

As everyone knows, it's The Pirate Bay's 15th anniversary on September 15th, and to celebrate, we're holding a competition for TPB users to come up with their own logo/design for the TPB homepage.

The lucky winner will have their design displayed as the TPB homepage for it's anniversary, and although it's only for one day (the original logo will return the following day), your design will long live on in the memories of filesharers around the world.

The winner will be decided by public vote (on this forum), which we'll sort out once we've got some entries in. There's no deadline date yet as we've got 5 1/2 months to present the winning entry to the TPB Admin (winston) for him to put up as the homepage. Once we've got some entries in, and when it gets a bit nearer to the Big Party, we'll hold the vote in a separate thread.

Some guidelines:

Entries must be posted in this thread - please do not PM staff/crew with your pics.

You can post as many entries as you like, but please post one entry per post.

You may credit yourself on the pic as the designer if you wish, but make it subtle. Adding 'By BigSte' in tiny letters in a corner is acceptable, writing it in huge letters is not.

The design can be based on one already in existence (so for example you could take the current homepage and pimp it up), or you can create an entirely new/fresh design. Either way, the design/logo must include some sort of reference to the site being 15 years old.

Anyone can enter, although only registered forum members are able to post on here, so non members who'd like to have a bash at this competition will need to register an account here first.

Max size for the TPB homepage logo, for reasons of forum space, should be no larger than 762 x 364

If anyone wishes to create/design a complementary logo for SuprBay, please post it with your TPB homepage entry. Please note this is optional.

Good, but maybe the 15 should be more evident. Or put ribbon/banners around the Rogers instead of sails, just brainstorming.

This is cool. First option (no spacecrafts).

Out of the contest (just for fun) I would take the x-wing fighting the enterprise (TOS) and, of course, Kirk Vader in that seat!
