So I was browsing tpb yesterday and did a search for the new blade runner movie. Found only ts versions, except for 5 torrents which said BrRip. I knew these were all fakes, because of the file structure (sneaky .z file) and the size was the same as other fakes that I've seen lately. Anyway, came back about two hours later and that's when I saw the strange situation: one of the five fake torrents (something with "Killers" at the end) had gone up to about 5000 seeders, while the other fakes were gone. Weird, right? Why would moderators tolerate that one fake torrent?

it depends upon your browser cache and sometimes on tpb eitherway trust the skulled users if you have any doubt of fakes and for the deletion mods do delete such fakes everyday.. mods dont tolerate fake torrents.

There must be another reason why, but not this one.

Seen this event many times especially when an account is flooding his fakes.
Most likely the account is already dead since it stopped flooding.
The next moderator will notice that one fake and it will eventually die.

Or, because that one torrent was the one you looked at, the entry for it is still in your browser cache even though it has deleted from the server and the uploader banned.

Next time, try Ctrl-F5 to see if it is really is still there.
