I would say Hitler was dementedly twisted and very evil, but not stupid. Look at what he accomplished as far as his big lie and turning a country over to his will. Also, who really knows if the people were behind him in spirit or in fear and since he controlled everything, of course, he'll look popular. Kinda like Putin; if Trump controlled the media as Putin controls his, he'd probably be "popular" in the ratings.

Stalin killed BY FAR many more people than Hitler, but people still think of Hitler as worse. Hitler's turds are smarter than Trump. I never thought I'd see a president in my time that makes Bush II look smart. Trump would look so much better if he wasn't so pompous and can articulate... Also, if he tried to cover his lies like he cared (like the other presidents at least attempted to). Trump will never be a real issue like that because no one takes him seriously; how can you?

Hitler was by all accounts demented, but lived as a hobo and never achieved any success AFAIK, until becoming the speaker for the NPD.
On the other hand, I find Ill88eagle smart and he's a similar story, so "intelligence" alone seems to be a poor criterium.

He didn't it alone, the people along him were the real brains making things work; when they got the chance to do something, he proved to be a very incompetent leader, and the bunch followed.

I hope Trump's administration go in a very diferent way, but his ego can convince him of being capable of more than just looking to cameras. He's VERY much like those bad ***** in Willy Wonka's factory, shouldn't be let loose, just it's Nuka-Cola global influence instead of Milkas.
