Hmm, I like epub's because they have formatting and well, I have grown accustomed to it. PDF/DJVU for second, TXT for third.

I've grown to like epub because it seems to work well in so many platforms and it works very well in TTS applications like TEXTALOUD.

PS As a note, I find CALIBRE incredibly useful.

Why? It's an open format that anyone can easily use, instead of some proprietary BS. I can't believe some people are using PDF, that format is designed for documents only, and is horrible for books. (not to mention hard to edit Sad)

I find creating Epubs difficult, but it may just be a personal failing in reading instructions correctly. I prefer Mobi simply because of this.

I can use PDF too, but it loses points because well, its corporate controlled.

Just because I love being different, my fave is lit files. I use ms reader on pc simply because it looks like a book would lay out.
