Large CD collections with say 100 compact disks selected from a decade are one way to get more music out there. Bundles need be checked to minimize duplication for those who want 200,000 albums in iTunes. FLAC is popular but Foobar2000 can convert as needed.
The most common bundle has to be the Time Life series, but Billboard used to put out annual disks with top hits each year. Billboard is presently a separate torrent for each one instead of an all in one bundle.
Billboard back to 1970 was found TPB but I have discs from the 1960s and I believe that discs that are older exist.
Bundles are easier to share as well as torrent clients cannot share more than maybe 40 in rotation so leeches can more easily get the box set.
