how do I update my cracked CnC4 game?

Hi, I used to update Command and Conquer Tiberian Twilight through the game original execution, type in my email, and password, then the update would begin. Now I have just started playing it again, I can't seem to remember how to do it, I did exactly as I mentioned, but it was asking the registration code?? and obviously I don't have a real or phony one to bypass that, I can't seem to recall I had this problem, anyway, any help on this issue are most appreciated!!

I recall it had something to do with the crack, like the crack emulated a server then you could update, it was annoying. Also i played it years ago cant remember very well.
