I think I succeeded in syncing the RLM commentary to Robocop, but I haven't watched the entire thing to see if it's really in sync, it's my first so it might be a few seconds off; although the instruction is really straight forward. Start right after the MGM logo goes dark. Their website says that it's the 103min uncut version which was easy to find. I'm uploading it right now to mega. hope it'll work.

Syncing: At the beginning of the movie I thought it was off sync because Mike says Orion before it appears on screen but the rest of it seems to be in sync. Especially Verhoeven's cameo and the out-of-place guy behind Boddicker after he got stabbed in the neck, it's very quick but a good indicator. Overall I still think it's a tiny bit out of sync, maybe 20 milliseconds (?), but since it's commentary not riffing, I think it's acceptable to be just a little bit off.
The format : I know Nothing of video formats, film rates and codecs. I've never edited anything before and decided to use .avi, which probably was a mistake, but any other format would result in an even bigger file. The worst part is that despite its size (3.7GB) it's choppy throughout the movie, which can get pretty annoying but not unwatchable.

Wow. That was really something. I didn't expect to see Mr. Lahey turn up, but I did think the movie had the "bacony stink of Canada all over it." (That cameo narrowed it down to Nova Scotia, probably Hallifax.)

Right now I am working on organizing my videos that need to synched into a folder with the mp3s so I can upload them more easily.
Also, for my own amusement I am combining all the Chandu's and GAM into one file so i'll watch the whole series at once.

I got cinester theater's planet of the apes synced last night and am starting on the speedway squad's mission to mars. planning to have that and maybe another one done by the coming weekend.

"IMPORTANT NOTE: We didn't realize this, but apparently there are multiple versions of "Pretty Woman" available. We used the "15th Anniversary Special Edition" version of this movie, which includes about 5 extra minutes of scenes cut from the original version. This will throw off the syncing.
