As for your last question, re. uploading to TPB specifically, you do NOT need to add 3 or 4 trackers. You do not need to add any trackers but there is nothing stopping from you adding as many trackers as you want. But no matter what you do TPB won't even look at the trackers in your torrent, it will completely ignore them. All it uses the torrent file for is to calculate the torrent hash. Then it constructs a magnet link from that torrent hash plus a selection of trackers of it's own choosing (which change from time to time).
