Just watched his riff of I Spit on Your Grave (1978)
Wouldn't call it a comedy riff. I mean that objectively, though, as in he has fun facts and some interesting takes etc but didn't make any jokes and it didn't seem at all like it was intended to be funny. Is that the usual?
P.S. Every time he spoke all I could picture was Dr Phil. Maybe as a non-American they sound more similar to me, but I was definitely getting Dr Phil

He is like a film critic/journalist/satirist. So he'll give you knowledge on the movie, crack a few jokes, but also give you some things to think about, about the movie or life in general. It's like watching a movie with a fun uncle over a few drinks and listening to him talk about it. So wouldn't call it "riffing" because he isn't really making fun of any movies along with it, moreso just discussion and insights that sometimes happen to be funny.

Joe Bob does mainly horror right now due to being on Shudder. He has older shows that go across all the genres. Joe Bob's Drive-In Theater and MonsterVision. Joe Bob's Drive-In theater is best due to it being a Movie Channel show so you get unedited rated R movies. MonsterVision was on TBS so boobs are cut out. Check out the older stuff if you want his take on pretty much any movie that would make for a fun time at the drive-in.

However, with RRB's edits you get 1080p unedited/uncut movies inbetween the segments, so Monstervision is just as good.
