Hello
I can't seem to be able to switch between single/double view on TPB, always stuck on double which I find very unpleasant, I've tried with 3 browsers, all the same, it just won't switch to single view.
Any suggestions?

just tested this on tpb site (https://thepiratebay.sx) and can confirm it seems to be broken, at current time, but its more than likely they are working on something and the function will be restored soon.

Might be, it basically started when .cx got blocked in Belgium and I had to start using https://194.71.107.80/ to get to the Bay. I should have mentioned that in my first post...

The switching is done via javascript and cookies. You need to allow both for it to work. Check your security settings.

Thanks for this. I see that I won't be able to toggle between single/double view since I'm using WinXP and thus can't upgrade from a vulnerable Java version. Drats!

javascript; not java.
single/double view should work on browsers in Win XP.
But it is up to you to enable or disable JavaScript in your browser.
If your browsing habits are safe, you can enable it.

Single/Double view issues. Can't switch to Single view sometimes. Single view is the only view I'm intrested in, since I want to see latest UL easy. I have enabled Javascript and cookies. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I haven't done anything between those sessions. So my suggestion is, skip the double view completely! It's like a broken pen - pointless

simply clicking 'single view' does nothing, at least on my end.
but clicking 'single view' and then pressing the 'F5' key works every time.
