Office Black Theme - King of the Underdogs - May 20, 2020 Even if you use something like KMSpico and activate your product, it wants you to log in and if you do not have a subscription it doesn't let you use some features including the black theme. I am looking for a way to use black theme on Word, I tried various things, one of them was to change the UI Theme value to 4 from Regedit, it looks like it works temporarily for some people but it changes when they come back, it doesn't work for me at all, like it doesn't make any difference. It's too expensive for me, especially when I'm going to buy it just for black theme and will use only 1 product (word) for like an hour a week. There must be another way. RE: Office Black Theme - waregim - May 20, 2020 Perhaps use an *older* version before the cloud crap. Or.. see if the LibreOffice version has what you want Remember that they are trying to suck everyone into their 'clouds ' , so it is probably best to stock up on client side apps. 'Upgrades' these days are actually feature depleted downgrades. Now M$ is trying to sucker folk in with eye candy. Soon the cloud will be needed for basic functionality. Last resort: Ask on Stack Exchange about scripts to roll your own themes. |
