Pirating used to be easy but now you have to outsmart them - Ladyanne3 - Nov 12, 2022 There are shows on a site called Tubitv that I want to download. I can get pieces of a show but everything I try can't do any better. I know understand why so many people just record a screen with their phone. I wish there was a solution. What shows are you looking for? Can you elaborate or is that not currently possible? There are lots! But I'll be happy to have this one https://tubitv.com/movies/674424/the-stepmother?start=true RE: Pirating used to be easy but now you have to outsmart them - RodneyYouPlonker - Nov 13, 2022 Okay, so my findings here goes... The show that you say is according to what I understand a movie... The Stepmother 2022, a movie that is linked here... https://tubitv.com/movies/674424/the-stepmother?start=true It's easy I just started watching it then it's just a little over about 90 or so minutes in length. The problem is you need to be located in the USA. Sadly I'm not in the USA but I was able to switch my VPN to a location in the US and access that movie just fine so it does work okay no problem. I looked around on various sites for you to see if there's much but it's really poor. The best I could find was actually on TPB and various other sites and it was about 1.3GB in size, not worth it really very poor quality in my opinion. Nobody has put it up in good quality and there doesn't seem to be a physical media release either anywhere in the world it's most probably something from Netflix or Amazon video which sucks I must say.. There is a lot of new things now on Netflix and Amazon video and they only release them on that platform. If by some chance you can't view it then it means you need a VPN because I was able to then just a few minutes ago. I was able to stream it for free the only snag is having to download it as you watch it, me personally I would rather watch it once I have downloaded the entire thing and then that way if there's a drop out in internet connection it won't disturb the movie I'm watching which is why I'm not a Netflix fan at all infact I hate the site and the same goes for Amazon video. It's making a copy of it that's difficult RE: Pirating used to be easy but now you have to outsmart them - RodneyYouPlonker - Nov 13, 2022 (Nov 13, 2022, 16:54 pm)Ladyanne3 Wrote: Watching it isn't the problem. It's making a copy of it that's difficult Never know, if the movie is popular then it might mean that it gets a physical media release like maybe in the USA and Canada. Possible this could happen at some stage but I would say at the moment you've got no chance. If somebody uploads the physical media copy then there's a good chance somebody could share that on TPB or somewhere like it. I'm sure it's a great movie I just hate the fact that when something good comes along you have no choice but to join these streaming sites just to watch them. Look for example how long the new Top Gun movie took to come out, it's been quite a while it only came out recently where as it's been available digitally now for many weeks and people have been able to sign up to certain places and download a digital copy to watch. I'm in no rush myself to watch that movie I might wait until Christmas before I put it on. The Stepmother looks good but I would say the streaming version on that link looks quite poor anyway, I wouldn't say the bitrate is all that great. I would rather watch on a proper TV instead of a laptop or a PC. Watching on the PC would suck really I would rather watch a nice screen and not just a monitor so that's why we have Android boxes and Kodi to use which actually works amazing. I would just wait really, never know along might come a media release. There's about 2 or 3 movies I'm waiting for myself that I'm not sure when they will get proper media releases, until then there's nothing I can do about it, I guess this is 2022 so expect all that kind of thing to happen, not surprising in the slightest. For Firefox that's F12->Network and then refresh the page so m3u8 feeds can reload and you can fetch the link, there will be multiple m3u8s in this case, each for a specific resolution (360 480 576 720 etc) you'll have to test it first to see what feed has the resolution you want , you can use VLC to just play it back and look at the info like codec and resolution, this one is 720p h264 So you can feed this feed (no pun intented) to VLC or ffmpeg and get an exact copy of it on your drive, VLC would be the easiest I guess For ffmpeg it'll be something like this Here's the link for m3u8 I got (it might vary depending on your location and whatnot): Code: https://manifest.production-public.tubi.io/9b636f72-dddc-4ab3-8a4b-985257bf0f0e/9u68p4i1/stream.m3u8?token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJjZG5fcHJlZml4IjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9jbG91ZGZyb250LnR1YmkudmlkZW8iLCJjb3VudHJ5IjoiVVMiLCJkZXZpY2VfaWQiOiIyNmUxOGRlMS02MmVkLTRkZGEtOTgwMC00OTM1N2MzYzcxZjIiLCJleHAiOjE2NzA3MzkzMDAsInBsYXRmb3JtIjoiV0VCIiwidXNlcl9pZCI6MH0.AS967hqdaE_mGMqmV0Q0vRlNcUW7vLCiotSdaMaVdT8&manifest=true This should be working for pretty much any web-site that doesn't have a developer tools block (some of them do) The full movie/rip in 720p: direct file link (right mouse click on the video->save as to download it) attached mediainfo as well |
