Adding Hard coded Subs to a MP4 movie - Suppermoon - May 20, 2014

I have downloaded a lot of Yify 1080p movies, some have no English subs for non English parts embedded in them. So I used Format Factory to embed the subs I found, but the size of the movie doubled. I wish I could find a program that embedded the subs and didn't increase the size and have no lose of quality. I would like to keep the movie in MP4 state so I can stream.

I remember this one torrent from Fastbet99. mp4 with soft subs.

Googling "mp4 with soft subtitles" gives some results. One youtube video (*) shows how to do it with handbrake. I wish I knew more to guide you.
If however, you only want hard-coded subs, pl. ignore my post. Just thought you might be interested in soft subs.

I just finished a mp4 movie with hard coded subs with DVDFAB. It worked rather well and was very easy to do and the quality after finished was excellent. If you want a free program to do the same I see allot of people use Handbrake or vlc player. But I don't know what the quality will be or how hard or easy it is to use.

I have ever used AppGeeker converter to add external subs to my movie, happy with the result.

You might go and try it. https://www.appgeeker.com
