I just got a newharddrive and reformattedit with win 8...
reupload and install all my drivers and securuty soft...
install utorrent and hit up a fre ebooks and what it says connecting to peers so i check my firewalls and ports and everything checks out but still connecting to peers and nothing more
worked fine befor with my old hd but that one kinda burned out...
any ideas?

Some part of your firewall is not allowing uTorrent to make outgoing connections. Make sure you are allowing both TPC and UDP outgoing connections, and that you can accept (forward if necessary) both UDP and T***** connections on your configured port.
