Win 7 Theme location? - -nelly- - Jul 13, 2014

Hi all,

I'm trying to locate the Win 7 themes on an install .iso. I'm trying to mod these themes without using e.g. rt7Lite etc.

Themepacks are fairly straight forward using the like of rt7Lite but i am trying to remove/add modded default themes (NOT THEME PACKS) directly to the .iso?

Thanks in advance,

CoolBig GrinTongue

each numbered folder represents a version, in which this case is folder 1 for Windows 7 32bit and folder 2 for Windows 7 64 bit, if it's an AIO there will be more numbered folders, 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc etc, but you probably already knew that Big Grin

This might be helpful https://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/9573-wim-manager/ to re-create the .WIM file, I haven't looked at it deeply enough to know "how to" lol

WinToolKit v1.4.46.1 Portable

There is an Installer version of WinToolKit, but it has adware and it will install a bunch of stuff you don't want

If using Windows XP or Windows Vista (as workstation) you'll required to install this DISM Installer

I'm not sure if it's possible to directly add the themes into the .WIM file using winrar or something...
