"Unable to save .torrent ..." - Unreal Rob - Sep 08, 2014 Been having a lot of trouble with torrents lately and I'm not sure if it's my OS (Windows 7), browser (Chrome) or torrent client (uTorrent) that's the problem. I swear, every time I find a solution, it works for a while and then it doesn't. Never had any problems before, but then one day the magnet links just stopped working for me for some reason. Nothing happened when I clicked on them. So instead, I tried right-clicking, copying the url link, then going to uTorrent and pasting the link there. It worked for a while, and then it stopped. The files just wouldn't show up anymore. I did the whole Local State editing in Notepad with the "magnet:false" thing. I also tried downloading the torrent file instead of using the magnet link. That worked for a while, too. But now, when the files show up and I click ok to start downloading, this message pops up: "Unable to save .torrent to 'C:\Program Files\uTorrent\....torrent'". What is going on?? RE: "Unable to save .torrent ..." - Dubsteam - Sep 09, 2014 Try Removing Utorrent from the Control Panel if it doesn't Working Delete the Folder From Program Files Manually and Then Open RUN > Regedit by pressing WINDOWS+R button and then type regedit in it and open Registry Go HKEY_CURRENT_USER>SOFTWARE>Bittorrent and Delete it and then install any new Version Or old version utorrent enjoy!
