Ever have a problem ripping a DVD? - YaMoonSun - Jun 20, 2015

I've been using a combination of DVDDecrypter and Handbrake to do the majority of my rips. Today, one of the DVDs I ordered from Netflix only loaded one 20 minute title to encode via Handbrake; Though when I opened the same decrypted .iso file via VLC player, I was able to watch all the episodes from the interactive menu. When I tried to utilze DVDFab's .mp4 encoder, it gave me the option to encode a single 2 hour .mp4 - From experience, the windows ffmpeg builds won't read an .iso (yet; I might submit a request to them after this post.), so I haven't given that a shot yet. I have tried to play the .vob files individually, and despite being 0.99GB each (There's 8 of them) I only get about three minutes of content to play from each. They're not currupt and they have duel audio, but they're only three minutes long. It's bogus.

It's Wildboyz Season 1, disc 1 - No problems as of yet with disc two.

I just managed to extract the episodes using makemkv; Should be able to process them to .mp4 from there

You could use Handbrake to rip and re-encode it directly from the DVD. It would save you from having to use an additional app.

If you do what System Folder says you can, remember to use AnyDVD if the DVD is encrypted.

It seems to be an ongoing battle.

I think , when you come across something DVDFab can't handle, it's time to get the latest update Undecided
In case you already have the latest, wait for the next and try again.

You may give another program called Digiber software (www.digiber.com) a shot. I've used it with great success.

You know, Handbrake is not a DVD ripper. It cannot handle encrypted DVDs. I think the process speed of Makemkv is too slow and output file is a large file.

You can give a shot on WonderFox DVD Ripper Speedy, 5 minutes to backup a DVD, but only in MPEG format. https://www.videoconverterfactory.com/dvd-ripper-lite/

So you may turn to advanced version or convert to the format you want with a video converter.

No offence, I don't know what you define as a DVD ripper. To me, it rips DVDs.

Besides, I don't fancy using MPEGs any longer.
