Can HEVC/H.265 files be burned for TV viewing via ConvertXtoDVD? - RobertX - Sep 14, 2015

Hi guys,

I have a question and, yes, it's the topic: Can HEVC/H.265 files be burned for TV viewing via ConvertXtoDVD?

I just downloaded a few HEVC/H.265 files can they really don't work well with VLC, even with additional files for such viewing in GNU/Linux. It does work on Windows, but slowly.

Both are either slow, as I mentioned, or the video has distortions that don't seem to move.

So I'm asking, can they at least be burned into DVD using ConvertXtoDVD for my viewing pleasure on the TV?

Convertxtodvd will convert the hevc file to vob file so that it can be used on a dvd. Keep in mind vob files are 480p. There are newer televisions which can play hevc files directly most of which are Android tv. I hope this helps.
