Tamagotchi - RobertX - Feb 17, 2016 For those who don't know, or not born in that era, in 1997, there was a craze from Japan about these little devices that emulate small animals that resemble a Gameboy. These miniature Gameboys (even more miniature than Gameboys themselves) would count on you to take care of them like pets. The thing was, you can starve it to death, or eat it until it explodes into shit (I kid thee not). It's been gone after a year or two, if I'm not mistaken. It was just two minutes ago that I remember about Tamagotchis, or whatever the Hell they are called. My question is, did you own one? Another question if true: do you still own one? Does it still work? I'd like to see if I can program the little shits into an Android, though it's just a nebulous thought that will rid itself tomorrow. OK, have a nice day. RE: Tamagotchi - bob5695 - Feb 17, 2016 i didn't own one, yet i remember to think, when they first appeared, "just how insane do you have to be to actually want to take care of a pet that doesn't exist?", but maybe that was because i've always had real pets. perhaps those ***** whose parents wouldn't let 'em have a hamster or a puppy or whatever could find some consolation in having a virtual pet. RE: Tamagotchi - dolly_cat - Feb 17, 2016 Hmm... I was born in 2000 A friend of mine had one (I guess, but my memory fails me). I didn't liked it anyway. (Kinda' hate these things...) Now, I guess it's located somewhere under my friend's bed... RE: Tamagotchi - Q91 - Feb 17, 2016 Just buy Nintendogs or something RE: Tamagotchi - Picklock - Feb 17, 2016 my nephews owned it. I break it. she still doesn't want to talk to me after 10 years. |
