Hi.
I bought a Toshiba Satellite C655 6 years ago. Recently, I did a system recovery of the computer. It installed the windows 7 and many try out software. I did not like these 'extra' software. So I downloaded an windows 7 home premium from an window help site,

and installed on my computer. I put my product key of Toshiba in. But after the installation, a message came out "Window is not genuine", I tried to put my product key from my Toshiba sticker again, but it did not work. Is there a way to 'activate' the 'clean' version of the windows 7? Or, I have to go back to the 'bloated' original window 7 version?

Download the Daz Loader version 2.2.2; it activates your Windows 7 installation no matter what it is.
It's in TPB; it should be easy to find.

I tried under HomePremium| Toshiba
It is the same as my toshiba code, but it did not work.
May I try other manufacture? or other window version, like Professional?

Q. I installed the loader and I'm still not activated, so what do I do now?
A. Go to the loaders advanced options tab and select to either either disable type 4 memory or use the legacy setting, then press install and reboot when prompted. You may also need to select the option to ignore the systems existing SLIC and/or revalidate online.Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have run a small program in a torrent I have download:

[New Windows 7 Activation]
Now I got the window to be genuine.
One more question, I remember someone said 'do not get a certain Window Update' since that update will catch those crackers, Could anyone confirm me with that?

Not me.
However, if your loader is kosher, you shouldn't be having problems with updates, though you might want to steer clear of update KB971033 if you can.
