Trying to upload torrent that is bigger than 1mb - crunchc - Jan 10, 2017

I'm trying to upload this torrent:

https://itorrents.org/torrent/5DBD7F72BCA0D94580D7C7E946306F40E6C03417.torrent
https://torrage.info/torrent.php?h=5DBD7F72BCA0D94580D7C7E946306F40E6C03417

But ThePirateBay.org won't let me! I'm assuming it's because the torrent is > 1.0mb in size. Is there anything I can do to get around this. Perhaps post it with just the magnet link?

Here is a screenshot of what happens when I try to upload this torrent: https://i.imgur.com/CUsU6vV.png

The error message I'm getting states 413 Request Entity Too Large. Underneath, there's a line and then it says nginx/1.11.7

What can I do? Anyone have any suggestions?

Too many files in torrent (Usually returns an "Entity Too Large" error) Archiving the files is a possible fix

Well.. there are around 500 files in this torrent.

Is there anything I can do other than archiving the files? I want to keep the same torrent.

Archiving is your only option with a torrent that has 500 files and returns an "Entity too large" error

Can't an admin post the torrent anonymously by just posting the magnet link without the file?

You can't just post a magnet link. The magnet link doesn't contain torrent metadata. That's why you upload a torrent file.

There really isn't much you can do. You need to reduce the size of the torrent file, and the only thing you can do that won't change the hash is remove the 30 trackers you have listed. That's highly unlikely to be enough.

I wouldn't bother with archiving, but if you are willing to seed a new torrent, you can remake the torrent with 4MB piece size. That'll probably shave 30% off the torrent size, which should be enough to get it uploaded.

Or break it into separate seasons.

make a copy of the torrent and remove the trackers. When you upload to TPB they wont be stored anyways. And make bigger piece sizes as Moe recommended.

I'm pretty sure i've seen torrents with 500+ files (could be old ones, I personally havent seen them in a while) so it should work.

Thanks for the help everybody, but I can't get it to work.

Tried removing all the trackers but no dice.

It's funny as most other torrent websites allow me to upload it. I uploaded without issue to ET, 1337x and others.

Is there any alternative way to upload a torrent other than the usual upload page? Maybe I can send the torrent file straight to an admin who can cache it?

Thanks.

You will have to remake it with a larger piece size or break it up into multiple torrents.
