Hello all, i have Adobe cs5 installed and i am trying to open my pictures in camera raw, but i get a warning saying :
The file appears to be from a camera model which is not supportes by the installed version of camera raw.
Can anyone please help me in either downloading a new version CS5 with camera raw suitable for my camera Nikon D5100 or help me fising this issue with the installed version please xxx
Be gentle this is my 3 post and i'm not a tech geek lol many thanks

Have you tried opening the photo in Adobe Bridge (Camera Raw)?

What is the file extension of the pictures on your camera?
Anyway, update Adobe Bridge via Adobe Application Manager and you'll be fine. Or, download and install either CS6 Ext. or CC direct from the Adobe website and go through the usual process of install and activating.

No but the advantage i find with CC is it's smaller than CS5, CS6 and CS6 ext., less resource heavy and is faster IMO.

Below is an AIO (All in one) installer of CC. It has full instructions and a video of how to use it included in the installer. Just right click on it and select "Run as administrator":
