Blue screen Win 8.1

        It happened now for 3rd time after I installed new updates and restart my pc, running Win 8.1 a blue sreen appears with message "critical_process_died" I tried a repair, nothing as well as system restore......system restore cannot fix the problem. I run HDsentinal and HDD appears "Health". I put in my Win 8.1 cd and request a repair.....nothing. Google it and it said a possibility of faulty hardware. The only I could do was a format and re-install my win 8.1, 32bit, then everything works fine. RAM, VGA card were checked and seems fine. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

RAM is usually the culprit to many BSOD. After that the graphic card. But it could also be completly software related. I cant play the game "***** of Light" without my PC (which is fairly above average) having a BSOD fairly quickly. No other software gives me that error
