Can't Delete My Own Threads

I was trying to delete a thread I started because I no longer need it & when I try I get this message

"You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:
Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.

I've activated already & am not suspended in any way. I then tried to delete/edit another thread & get the same thing. Help please? Thanks.

You can't delete threads. That's by design.

You could use the report function to request a moderator delete a thread for you. If nobody has replied, they might do delete it, or trash it for you.

Just because you don't want it doesn't mean someone else might not also want it.

If someone does eventually respond, just say thank you. If you want to save people the trouble of looking, just reply to the thread that you are no longer needing help.
