Hi everyone! I just recently joined, though I have been lurking for a while. My most used 3D software would be DAZ3D.
I have a question: I want to make a request, but someone has already done a thread for a related content to it. Should I make a new request thread, post on the mentioned already existing one or should I wait for an answer in the existing one?

Don't take this the wrong way because more people than you would imagine don't even stop to think. You have, and that's somewhat commendable, but since you have stopped, try thinking. It's really not that hard.
If you create a new thread, and someone replies to the original thread, what guarantees are there that they will either notice your extra thread or reply to it? Or that you will notice their reply to the other thread? And if someone replied to your thread would the person who created the original thread notice? Or would they just miss out because of you? Clearly, creating a new thread would be a silly idea in nobodies best interests.
If you bump an existing thread that was only created an hour ago, or even a couple of days ago, that is still on the first page of the requests forum, what are the chances that someone will have purchased the content in the intervening time? Tiny. So don't bump threads that were last posted in less than a week ago: it won't do anyone any good AND it will usurp the prominence of other new requests that people might be able to help others with.
But if the request was posted 6 weeks ago, and the thread has slipped to the second page, that's a different story. It certainly is possible that someone now has the content, so a bump would not be out of order and it might help both you and the original requestor.

Back from the dead. Quit rendering for a year or 2 while trying to get my life back together. Had the X pack up her crap one day while I was at work and leave me a voice mail that it was over and no chance for reconciliation. So after wandering the waste land for some time I have come back around to the Daz life and ready to start it up again.

Hi guy's getting back in the scene of Daz after a few years of absence, can't wait to get back on it... and actually i have a quick question... i did not have time to test as i recover my old library only yesterday from old backup and was wondering if the stuff i had in the old day's for like Victoria will actually work on the g8 model or the bone and everything have change too much sorry if it's seam a retard question but been a while... not sure it's the right place to ask either but anyhow happy to have found this forum and see that the crowd from KAT did not disappear
Happy to have found this place. I love working with Daz and creating the renders. i am very ill and this is my outlet. So a big hello to everyone
