Is video game piracy dead now?? i don't see many new cracks coming out or any torrent files of new games in general much anymore and in more recent years the sales of video games pc included have gone up what do you guys think is it now an era long gone?.

Not necessarily.

I think either you're not looking hard enough, or The Pirate Bay is lagging behind like it does for other stuff.

Either way, I don't really care; all my PCs are yesterday's news.

Game cracking isn't dead, but for a while it did seem like cracking slowed down quite a bit for bigger game titles.

Lol. Video game piracy isn't dead at all. There are games being cracked every day, every hour probably. It will never die. As long as there are games, there will be piracy and crackers. You might as well ask if people have stopped breathing oxygen.

Video game piracy may be alive, but 100% offline LAN gaming is all but extinct.

Depends. Denuvo is really hard to crack, so games like: Homefront the Revolution and Total War: Warhammer are nearly impossible to crack.

If there is a constant in this universe about game protections, it's this: anything that is too (in)famous will pay the price for it.
