That lead me to post them in this order (no mention of Paper Lion):
1999-01-29 - 01 - Semi Tough (1977) [1080p] (12:00AM)
1999-01-29 - 02 - Two Minute Warning (1976) [1080p] (01:15AM) (Actually 01/30/99, but used 01/29/99 as the previous film aired at midnight and thus has the earlier date. Plus, due to the time difference between this and the next film, this feels more like it's own double-feature)
1999-01-30 - 01 - Dallas North Forty (1979) [1080p] (12:00PM) {posted in 2021-10}
1999-01-30 - 02 - The Longest Yard (1974) [1080p] (02:30PM) {posted in 2021-10}
1999-01-30 - 03 - The Dirty Dozen (1967) [1080p] (05:00PM)
1999-01-30 - 04 - MASH (1970) [1080p] (08:00PM)
1999-01-30 - 05 - The Longest Yard (1974) [1080p] (10:35PM)
1999-01-30 - 06 - South Beach (1993) [480p] (12:00PM) (Shows as 01/31/99, but left with 01/30/99 for better file grouping)
I noticed the listings that you mentioned, but decided to go with the info that I have from the original tapes.
I also highlighted the AM time in your post regarding Two-Minute Warning (1976) as this would aired much earlier that morning.
If you still feel like this is in error, please let me know.
Additionally, please feel free to rename files as you see fit. If your media sc*****r works better with different file-names, no worries about changing them.
However, I am trying to create the best and complete collection, so if you feel these should be re-named\re-sorted, please let me know.
Thanks,
RunRunBill
Bill, I think you did a fantastic job as usual. The timeline is just weird and a head scratcher at first. These two screenshots should clarify what I am seeing. Granted they are not the best quality or easy to read though. https://imgur.com/a/5g9vEKi
Perhaps 2 Minute Warning was after South Beach on 1/30 at 1:15am and Paper Lion was the late movie on 1/29?

Here is a scan from the listings for 1/31/99 showing when South Beach was aired. https://imgur.com/a/gocVeKV
I went spelunking through archive.org looking for answers and was able to find this page from the OG MonsterVision website, which lists three of the movies and their showtimes. The whole schedule is listed on another page which (of course) isn't archived, but we can tell 100% that at least a chunk of the schedule was MASH/Longest Yard/Two Minute Warning.
I then remembered that they also did a page called TV Eye that had the schedule for MonsterVision (and other interesting movies) on it, and that page IS archived... but all it says for that entry is
Quote:Saturday, January 30
MonsterVision will be pre-empted by a special SuperBowl Weekend movie lineup with special hosted segments featuring Joe Bob Briggs. The films include North Dallas Forty, The Longest Yard, The Dirty Dozen, M.A.S.H., & Two Minute Warning.
So I went further. Probably shouldn't have, but I did. I managed to dig up a daily paper from Jan 30/31st that had tv listings in it (and hats off to the Bonham Daily Favorite and whoever archived it). UNFORTUNATELY the listings stop at 1:30 AM CST and don't pick back up until 9 AM CST the following day, so it doesn't give a definitive answer, but here's what I am able to make out. Times are in CST (because that's what the paper is in):
Friday Evening 11 PM: Semi-Tough 1:30 AM: Paper (that's all it says, but presumably this confirms Paper Lion was on Friday Night)
Saturday Daytime 9 AM: Adventures of Brisco County Jr 10 AM: Due South 11 AM: North Dallas Forty 1:30 PM: The Longest Yard 4 PM: The Dirty Dozen
Saturday Evening 5 PM: The Dirt Dozen (continued) 7 PM: M*A*S*H 9:30 PM: The Longest Yard (again) 12 AM: Two Minute Warning
Sunday Daytime: 9 AM: In The Heat of The Night 10 AM: In The Heat of The Night 11 AM: South Beach 1 PM: The A(the rest of it is too garbled) 3 PM: The Desperate Trail
So this matches the scan El Phantasmo shows, but what I suspect this was is a Sunday rebroadcast of South Beach, possibly outside of the Monstervision marathon, since it seems out and alone in the middle of nowhere. I've got a couple more feelers out there, trying to dig up more guide data from that night, will keep you updated.
I dont think South Beach was rebroadcast but just more intentional filler for the super bowl weekend. Was it in the middle of nowhere? Most definitely but the whole weekend is kind of outside parameters for monstervision. Plus if you're kinda following the timeline of events canon, Joe Bob's shirt is different than the other days so that's what makes me think it was a standalone airing.

Instead of just watching F13 movies this year (the next one is in October) we've decided to watch the Joe Bob marathon (using the 12-20-97 broadcast of Part IV to plug the unfortunate gap), so an upgrade comes at just the right time. Great work as always.
Thanks for all of the awesome work you've done ... I have decrypted and everything and I see week 5 but that's the last of the weekly shows when I log in ... am I missing something? Also, will there be more of the old 96 and 97 episodes being released?
Specificailly
She (1984)
Theatre Of Blood
Trying to till in the gaps ...
Again thanks for the great work

Sorry to bother you but I was wondering if there will be any more old monstervision episodes added to the folder? Again want to say thanks for everything that you have upped so far.
Thanks!

I just double-checked. W06E01 and W06E02 are there. Please let me know if you still don't see them.
And yes. I'm still creating edits from The Lost Drive-In. I'm processing these in 3 month segments. I'll be working on April-June soon and hope to have them up sometime in July.

OH I'm sorry it's all there ... I should have looked at the dates... not a Walking Dead fan so I probably just overlooked it ... again thanks for all that you do.
By the way I came across this in a post here last week and was wondering if someone has some of the episodes listed that haven't been shared already by RunBilllRun and others.

Great! Enjoy
I think that monkstah is keeping track of the episodes. I'm not sure how to message\alert him on this forum, but he's usually around every now and again.
ThanksRunBill run ... quick question ... I see JBB has repeated movies on MV ... are the jokes basically the same? Is ONE copy of let's say Phantasm enough?
