New Pirate, can't open my pirated games? Help?
#1
Hey Lads, so I'm ALMOST completely new to pirating, and I recently downloaded 2 games (SOMA and Outlast 2) onto my PC. The torrents seemed pretty legit, but for some reason after finishing installing the games and cracking SOMA (Outlast 2 didn't come with a crack so I assume it didn't need one) I straight up can not open the games. When i click the icon nothing happens, same thing with when I run as administrator. Any suggestions? Where did I go wrong?

I don;t have those games but since you say you new to this if the a file with the extension .nfo , you may have to set the show file extensions in the folder options in the windows control panel,
if so open that with notepad it may provide the info required to install and play the games

Did you check both the notes online and for any notes in the archives to see how to run them? Some game downloads come with special launchers. Also, make sure your virus checker didn't decide to remove key files it found suspicious during installation. That has happened to me on more than one occasion.

Finally, and just for what my opinion's worth, I wouldn't suggest running anything unless the source is a Trusted or VIP Uploader. Malicious crap gets through, so you're safest with people who have proven records of maintaining good standards.
