i even have adblock.. but it still shows like 10 pop-ups popping up but getting blocked.
does this happen to anyone else

It's not a suggestion for either TPB or SB sites, it's a query on your behalf on how to fix it, and seeing as ad block is your issue (I have adblock and never see ads, anywhere), the thread has been moved to the appropriate forum.

If your using Google Chrome, then look for a Pirate Bay add blocker. Yep a add on just for TPB. It works
