I genuinely love the space-vampires-hiding-in-Haley's-Comet plot. Yes Matilda May is otherworldly, but I stick around for the Railsback flashbacks and lore. I'd love to seen this riffed to bits.
Based on a cracker of a novel: The Space Vampires by Colin Wilson.
You are of course correct, sir! I've actually read it. It's as pulpy as it gets and it was a fun read!

No joke, I probably watch my 4K of Lifeforce once a month! I know it was a big money loser for Cannon but it hits my sweet spot a couple different places...tons of fun!

I just found a vintage copy of the book at the local used book joint for $4! Woot.

Excellent find. I'm a little jealous. Not SE7EN Jealous, lowercase "j" jealous.
I'd also recommend Colin Wilson's novels The Mind Parasites (based on HPL's Cthulhu Mythos!) and The Philosopher's Stone (no relation to that magic kid what lived under some stairs).

My bad is Cherry 2000 (not really awful), but the totally horrible would be Space Hunter (which I guess someone already mentioned here).
As you can see, both have many things in common; guess it's my style.

"What's in the book? WHATS IN THE BOOOK!?!"
The Mind Parasites has been on my list for a while, im a bit of a Mythos fan myself. I'll add TPH to the list as well. I like his trashy, pulpy style and I'm out of pop culture references.

Clash in the College of RedLetter Media Best of the Worst fame.
Apparently the actors were required to say the lines as written, and not make them sound more natural.
In one scene a character is wearing an MST3K silhouette T-shirt leading me to believe at least he knew what movie was being made.

It's a shitty 360p 230mb copy, and you need to set it to 16:9, but it's free and So Bad It's Good.

I just watched this with a friend and we laughed through the entire thing. The link is just the trailer. I can put it on mega, but my copy is still stuck at 99.3% and is glitchy.
