? books with trojan what to do please ?

hi i downloaded books but inside alot theres trojan what that mean i really want to keep the book can i kill the trojan and keep the books
or if i put it on external drive not with internet is that good or may distroy the whole drive...

a pdf can only contain malware when it is an attachment, a "stream" object of the file format. it can only be executed when that attachment is opened. very few softwares handle these attachments, Adobe products among them.

so u mean as long as the virus as i know which doesnt spread exept on execution i open it with adobe the whole trick of trojan is defeated .easy does foxit work seems not ?

yes, if you can open the PDF in foxit and it appears normal it is highly unlikely it is infected at all, but even if it is this will not put you in danger (as the infection lies in the attachment).

PDFs can contain links which can lead to malware, however.

i love to open them with my normal chromium browser to save pc load ..

Some time certain PDF files are binded with trojans.It doesn't contain any books at all instead some crap .exe files renamed and added an extension like .pdf. So you should always scan pdf or any files before opening it. A good pdf file never contains any trojan like 'Trojan.Dropper.Heur.gen2'. Try to use some good antivirus too.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, you could delete the attached trojan from the PDF file.
