do you think Nvidia GRID will make piracy of games obsolete ?

in that video at 4m50s they show off tech demo
that 2 years ago could be run only on 3k$ PC
but now you can have Nvidia TV console for 199$
and run that demo, it gives that technology
huge advantages over regular gaming using console
or PC:

for developers:

developers have one type of really powerful
hardware in datacenters that they can rely
on instead of all sort of hardware on end users'
home PCs so they don't need to make tradeoffs
for different type of hardware and optimise
and test for lots of them they just need to make
it work on one type of hardware that is in datacenters
and because its all centralised it makes it really
easy to patch and update all the software, and because
of all of that they can afford make it cheaper
than if they ship games on disks

for gamers:

with Nvidia GRID it doesn't matter if you have
600$ PC or 6000$ PC you will have your game
run at 1080p 60fps with all maxed out, also
another way to conserver time and hardware is
that  no one play games 24/7 and if gamer
has 6000$ gaming rig but plays only 3-5 hours
a day that mean 21-19 hours that PC is just
iddling, especially if its a nighttime on one side of the
globe and that PC just sitting here turned off
but on the other side of the globe its a daytime
and someone wants to play, all that makes
Nvidia GRID very efficient that it uses same amount
of hardware but can server much more people

so  the question is do you guys think there will
be a day when the only way to play games is
throuhg online gaming like Nvidia GRID ?

and as such will it kill pirating of games ?
for example if you take video or audio streaming
services you still get content on your computer and
that mean you can save it locally but with "Nvidia GRID"
there is no software streaming to you only video
and as an outcome there will be no game piracy ?

Well, we still don't know everything there is to know about what this technology entails, like how much are the games, or how they're going to be distitubted to make this plan successful.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I don't see a change in downloading patterns. This seems to be coming from the cloud. I hate it when games depend on an online connection to play single player or multiplayer; FIFA comes to mind. If you ask me, it's the same old song and dance; these things are still just toys for the rich.

Can you really ever say that piracy will be considered obsolete? I don't think that there will ever be an absence of people who would rather take a few steps to save a little bit of money. The easier it gets to play a game, the lesser that number will be, but I'm sure it won't ever be null.

As for the future of gaming, I'm sure there won't ever be a consistent need for online-only playing through services like Grid. Some people just won't want to deal with the issue of spotty connections or no connection at all, and I'm sure those people will stay accounted for in the future.
