I left my computer open and unfortunately the automatic updates activated so that when I logged in again utorrent no longer opens. I deleted the utorrent folder and I redownload it. I tried to open utorrent.exe but I keep getting the message "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file". I have tried to run as an administrator but I get the same identical message. I have looked online for solutions but none of them have worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you so much SectorVector, snilloc, and Spud17, I really appreciate it!
SectorVector, I wasn't able to actually reinstall utorrent. I went to Roaming/Appdata and deleted the utorrent folder in there to try and uninstall the original utorrent. When I downloaded the utorrent.exe file from the utorrent website, I tried to open it first by double clicking and then I tried running it as an administrator. In both cases, I got the message "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file".
Spud17, thank you so much for the link and your help. I was able to download version 2.2.1 with no issues at all so thank you for that information.
I do have an additional question if that is okay but please let me know if I should move it into a different more proper thread. I copied the utorrent uri files from the utorrent folder in the Roaming/Appdata before I deleted that utorrent folder. Is there any way to import these utorrent uri files or add these utorrent uri files into the Utorrent 2.2.1 version in order to have these torrents in the client library? Spud17, I saw that the thread you posted touches on this but I was wondering if you have any advice or tips on how to accomplish this? Please let me know if I should move this question to a different thread. Thank you for all your help!

you'll have to replace the files created in the appdata/roaming/utorrent folder when you installed the 2.2.1 version with the backup ones from the other version. do it with the program closed, and when you run it again it should import them automatically. well, at least i've done it this way once, and it worked. hope it works for you too.
